“My favorite word is ‘love,’ particularly in the Christian commandments that I accept as guides to my life:

1. Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind.
2. Love humanity as yourself.

In the second commandment, I prefer to use ‘humanity’ instead of ‘neighbor’ since the latter can be limiting, and I believe in extending love beyond the boundaries of our own tribe, nationality, or religion.”
