Buddha and Jesus
If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?
In my ideal time-travel journey, I’d meet Buddha and Jesus, immersing myself in their worlds. Learning Aramaic and Hindi would enable me to directly absorb their teachings. Through their guidance in prayer and meditation, I would aim to deepen my understanding of the divine, seeking a personal, profound connection with these pivotal spiritual figures.

Intuition not instincts
Do you trust your instincts?
I trust and made many important decisions following intuition which is different than instincts which are deeply ingrained, often subconscious responses that are more primal and tied to survival or basic functions, Intuition, on the other hand, is more about a subconscious understanding or insight. It’s a kind of inner ‘knowing’ that doesn’t necessarily come from logical reasoning or conscious thought. It’s often based on accumulated experiences and knowledge, even if we’re not actively aware of it.

December and the joy of Christmas

As a Christian, December holds a special place in my heart, marking the commemoration of God’s presence on Earth through the birth of Jesus. This month is not just a religious milestone but also a time rich with family traditions and warm memories. Christmas, in particular, is a time of joyful family gatherings, where we come together to celebrate this significant event, cherishing the moments of unity and reflecting on the profound meaning of the occasion.

Loved every place I lived
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I feel fortunate for the life I’ve led. Born in Bolivia, I pursued my education and career in the United States, and also worked across Europe and Latin America . My travels have taken me to India, Japan, China, and Cameroon, each experience enriching in its own way. Despite the love I hold for all these countries, I’ve chosen to semi-retire in Florida, where I now enjoy teaching at a small university. It’s here that I’ve found a sense of contentment, cherishing the diverse cultures and people I’ve encountered throughout my journey.”
