What could you do differently?

I wish I could deepen my relationship with the Divine, fostering a faith that is steadfast and unshaken by rational doubts or fears.

If you had a freeway billboard, what would it say?

The billboard to be effective must be:

• Clear and Uncomplicated: It should have a straightforward design with a bold message or image, easily grasped in seconds.
• Highly Legible: Large fonts and high contrast colors are used for readability from a distance or at high speeds.
• Visually Striking: It features an eye-catching and relevant graphic or image, memorable even after a brief glance.

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

I am in the fourth stage of life known as “Sannyasa.” Thus I think mostly about the present day. In This stage is traditionally considered as the life of renunciation or asceticism. It is a phase where an individual, having fulfilled the duties of household and family life, minimizes worldly attachments to focus on spiritual matters.

What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

My most cherished material wish is for a first-class round trip to Jerusalem, to experience the profound spirituality of the Holy Land.

What colleges have you attended?

I deeply appreciate the California university system for providing an immigrant like myself with extraordinary opportunities. I was able to earn a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles, followed by a PhD in Economics from UC Santa Barbara. This experience is a testament to the excellence of education in the United States

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

Play time for me is leisure time to play pickleball, walk the dog, or meditate.

What are your biggest challenges?

In a world marred by dictators, assassins, and wars, my greatest challenge is seeking happiness and expressing gratitude to the Divine. Amidst the widespread suffering, I strive to find joy and thankfulness as acts of resilience and hope. My pursuit of happiness is not just personal, but a commitment to be a beacon of positivity, echoing the power of the human spirit to overcome despair and champion a future filled with peace and compassion.
