What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

The experiences that have profoundly impacted my life revolve around the realization of my seemingly minuscule place within the vast expanse of the universe, coupled with the profound understanding that I am, nevertheless, part of a divine power. This duality—of feeling both insignificant in the grand scheme of things and yet intimately connected to a greater, omnipotent force—has profoundly shaped my perspective on life. It instills in me a sense of humility and wonder, reminding me of the intricate balance between our individual existence and the larger cosmic order.

Do you believe in fate/destiny?

I believe that the only predetermined aspects of our existence are the mortality of our physical bodies, our genetic composition, and the circumstances of our birth, including our family and upbringing. Beyond these given conditions, the course of our lives, the paths we choose, and the fulfillment we find are shaped by our free will and the conscious actions we undertake.

Do you enjoy your job?

I am deeply grateful to the Divine for blessing me with favorable genetics and for my loving parents who nurtured and educated me. This foundation enabled me to pursue a series of wonderful job opportunities throughout my life, especially in academia, where I had the privilege of changing many lives.

Describe a phase in life that was difficult to say goodbye to.

The most challenging transition I faced was retiring from my role as the president of a university in Bolivia, a position to which I dedicated 21 years of intense and rewarding effort. During this time, I had the privilege of impacting the lives of thousands of young Bolivians positively

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?

If I could inhabit someone’s mind for a day, I would choose to enter Putin’s mind and end the war with Ukraine, returning all invaded territories

Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.

My most important DIY project is exploring and understanding my relationship with the Divine and its essence. This personal journey involves self-reflection, study, and experiential learning to grasp the spiritual connection and the nature of the higher power that guides and shapes my existence.

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

I support the principle of free speech and oppose the prohibition of any specific word in the language. In my view, all words should be free for expression, and the real challenge lies in managing our negative thoughts rather than restricting our vocabulary.

What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?

My most significant challenge is maintaining my strength and toffering support to my son, who is battling cancer in another state of the USA

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

My advice to my teenage self would be to keep setting ambitious goals, but to balance intellectual pursuits with spiritual growth. Avoid being misled by false prophets and seemingly enticing political ideals that have proven unsuccessful in the past. Always seek the truth in all your endeavors, remember to save the world you must first save yourself

What bores you?

I find myself disengaged and bored during conversations where people criticize others, complain about trivial matters, or zealously defend religious or political views. Essentially, conversations with people who focus on these topics tend to bore me.
