  • I love my name would never change it

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?

I cannot think of ever changing my name Manuel which is the Spanish version of Emmanuel, and has its origins in Hebrew. It is derived from the Hebrew name עִמָּנוּאֵל (Immanu’el), which translates to “God is with us” or “God is among us.” The name holds significant religious and spiritual connotations, particularly within Christianity, where it is associated with the prophecy in the Book of Isaiah foretelling the birth of a child who would be called Immanuel.

The name Emanuel signifies the belief in a divine presence and the assurance that God is present and involved in the lives of individuals and communities. It carries a sense of comfort, guidance, and protection, emphasizing the notion that one is not alone and that a higher power is always by their side. As such, the name Emanuel often symbolizes faith, hope, and the reassurance of a spiritual connection, serving as a reminder of divine presence and support in times of challenge or adversity.
