When I receive wonderful news, I instinctively drop to my knees to express my profound gratitude to the Divine, acknowledging the blessing bestowed upon me. Following this moment of spiritual thanksgiving, I eagerly share the joyous news with my loved ones, amplifying the happiness and reinforcing our bonds through the shared celebration of good fortune. This practice not only deepens my spiritual connection but also enriches my relationships, creating a ripple effect of positivity and gratitude.

What’s your favorite candy?

While candy may sweeten the palate, I choose not to indulge as it is detrimental to my health. Instead, I prefer to sweeten my soul with spiritual readings and thoughts, finding nourishment not in sugar, but in wisdom and inner peace.

Do you need a break? From what?

I long for a reprieve from grim news. How refreshing it would be to greet the morning with breakthroughs in cancer treatment or tales of spiritual renewal, rather than the all-too-common reports of senseless violence, conflicts, acts of terror, and the machinations of political narcissists and demagogues

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the most significant invention in my life due to its unparalleled impact it will have on how I live and work. By automating routine tasks, enhancing decision-making, and revolutionizing communication, AI frees up time for creativity and innovation. It’s not merely a tool but a transformative force, reshaping industries and personal experiences alike, continually redefining what’s possible and promising an exciting future of endless potential.

Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

My ideal day seamlessly integrates spirituality, knowledge, and personal connection. It starts with a morning prayer, thanking the Divine for life’s blessings, setting a reflective tone. Then, over a continental breakfast, I engage with global narratives through The New York Times and The Economist, feeding my intellectual curiosity. My day progresses to work, focusing on crafting engaging class materials. A nutritious lunch and a short nap rejuvenate me for the afternoon’s tasks, including teaching a one-hour class and playing an hour of pickleball, blending mental stimulation with physical activity. Evenings are for family; a heartfelt dinner conversation with my wife and calls to my children reinforce our bond. The day winds down with watching a TV series, a shared leisure activity, followed by meditation before midnight, grounding me in peace and readiness for the next day.

How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

As I reflect on the journey that has led me to where I stand today, I find that my studies and experiences have been instrumental in shaping my relationship with the Divine. Delving into various religious texts and philosophical treatises has broadened my understanding of the vast expressions of the sacred, each offering unique insights into the essence of the Divine.
